Learning about Justine: Snow after the ice ...

It wasn't enough for mother nature to drop 2 inches of ice on beautiful Bloomington, IN.

No ...

The ice storm (from the post last week), came on Tuesday and Wednesday. Longest two days, evvver. Then, Saturday--BAM! Snow. And lots of it.

I ventured out and took some pics. Come on spring!

 This is a city road.
 Another city road.
And another ... (the sky is dark in these pics because the snow was falling like CRAZY!)
 A park ...
Ah, I love a road that's not really a road because it's covered in snow! Gotta love county roads!
A county road (at this point, I'm on my way back home)
 County road ...
Below is "my road". My road/driveway is 1/4 smile long (give or take).
Pretty pine tree in my yard.

Spring. Spring. Spring. Spring. Spring. Spring. Spring.

Hmm ... did I mention I want spring?

Ah, Indiana. I miss the quarter-mile long driveways and gravel roads. Sometimes. For like, a second.

We're having yo-yo weather. One day it could be -27 F and a few days later +27 F. One day it's snowing heavily. A few days later it's turned to very wet slush only to freeze again.

Thanks for sharing the pictures! I think we're one of the few places where it hasn't snowed lately. I'll cross my fingers for Spring for you . . . and the groundhog did see his shadow for a change. :)

So much snow!!! Surprisingly, it isn't snowing in BC right now. And we always get lots of snow.

i love that your driveway is so long! And yeah, i could really use some spring as well. Just a few more months (well for us anyway)

Yup, it’s official, the snowpocalypse is here! LoL

So didn’t the groundhog predict an early spring? Cannot remember, but if he did, I’m not quite believing he’s of sound enough mind to forecast that one! Crazy little critter, has he not seen the news?! Haha

Love your blog, BTW!

Lovely pictures, but yes, I think the groundhog was on crack when he said it would be an early spring this year!
