Happy Hump Day, peeps!
I don't know what kind of weather you all are having, but we got one last snow dump from Mother Nature last night. I'm SO ready for spring!
And because I'm so ready for Spring, I've written a little ode to the season:
Spring, oh, Spring
What joy you bring
From the warm of your sun
To the scent of your blooms
It makes me want to leave these ghastly rooms
I want to frolic in the meadow
Ride my bike down the street
I want to do all the things I can't do in the Winter, you see
Play outside
Wash the dog
Work in the garden
Go fishing, camping, and barbecue
Those are just a few things I want to do
Oh, Spring, won't you please fulfill my dream
Send the nice weather soon before I get real mean.
Tada! Ha, I think I might have missed my calling to poetry. Not.
